"US standard connectors" are the flat metal tabs in US standard plugs (also known as American standard plugs) used to connect the power supply, corresponding to the live wire (L), neutral wire (N), and ground (G) functions.

 

The most common type is NEMA 5-15P, suitable for 120V/60Hz AC systems, and widely used in the United States, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, and other regions.
