T-shaped copper strips: Used where pipes pass through walls (such as drainage pipes and heating pipes). Horizontal strips wrap around the pipe, and vertical strips embed into the wall to prevent leakage.
L-shaped copper strips: Used at inside corners of walls and floors (such as bathroom and basement corners). They cover 90° joints to prevent water seepage.
U-shaped copper strips: Used at the bottom of pools, basement ceilings, and other "reverse waterproofing" areas to prevent groundwater backflow; actual measurements show a reduction in seepage rate of up to 87%.
